WHEN WE START WORKING WITH A NEW CLIENT WE SCHEDULE AN INTRODUCTORY MEETING CALLED THE INTENTIONAL SEARCH.

IT TAKES 1.5 HOURS AND COSTS YOU NOTHING BUT YOUR TIME. USUALLY THIS MEETING OCCURS IN OUR OFFICE SO WE CAN REMAIN FOCUSED. I RECOMMEND THAT ALL THE DECISION MAKERS ARE PRESENT AS IT ALLOWS FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE THE BENEFIT OF THE EDUCATION AND WE START OUT ON THE SAME PAGE.

At that meeting we:

  1. Gather Administrative information about you, your business, who the players are and their contact information. 

  2. We talk about the process of leasing (or buying) commercial real estate – our business has its own language and it’s sometimes mystifying to non-real estate folk.  

  3. We cover what financial documents will be needed, so you are not surprised or put off by that.

  4. We discuss the short term, mid-term and long-term goals you have for your business, so we can help you consciously determine whether the space we find will fit you for the long term or not.

  5. We cover the geographical area that this business should be located and also discuss the nitty gritty about what the perfect space looks like, amenities etc.

  6. Last, we understand who your other extended team members or 'counselors may be.   (CPA, Real Estate Attorney etc.) 

Armed with this information we can mount a focused search for you.  

Also this allows us the opportunity to work with one another to see if we develop rapport or not.
