A High-Impact Business: Spotlight for Sun Valley Shao-lin Kempo

Shao-lin Kempo is as old as the 5th century temple where it originated in the mountains of China and as new as virtual pandemic lessons that took place across the nation in the last few years. From its very roots, Shao-Lin Kempo has been adaptable. That’s why when you walk into Zachary’s studio, he isn’t going to ask for your age and then assign you an arbitrary group-class training regiment. He will listen to your needs and goals & deliver the training experience that is perfect for you.

Yes, of course, if you want to learn to kick, learn self-defense, and wield swords, he can teach you. But he is also a perfect Sifu if you prioritize recuperating your range of motion, getting into a better mental headspace after trauma, or finding a physical outlet for your special-needs child.

Zach’s high-impact art often has a high impact in people’s lives.

Join Sun Valley Shao-lin Kempo for their grand opening THIS SATURDAY Nov. 4th from 10am-1pm. Food & drinks, sparring demonstrations, and even a lesson from the Grand Master! If you can’t make it in person, join on their Facebook Live Stream from 10:00-11:30!

1929 E Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ 85225

Maybe Zach’s purpose is why he felt like such a perfect fit for the team at Commercial Property Connect. He wants to do the right thing by his students always.

In 1976, Grand Master Pearl founded American Schools of Shao-Lin Kempo with a surprisingly revolutionary approach to martial arts: truly taking care of students instead of hoping they learn from the sheer stamina of being repeatedly pounded.

This approach has attracted students ranging in age from 3-93 in individual, group, and even virtual settings from around the nation.

After achieving his 5th Degree Master Black Belt and selling his initial studio to some of his students, Zachary traveled the country teaching Shao-lin Kempo and deciding where he wanted to settle. He and his family ultimately chose the beautiful Phoenix Valley. But as someone new to the area, he didn’t know all of the nuances of the community.

As it happens, Susan was so impressed with with Zach that she started taking some lessons from him.

“Susan was vital to me because she gave me tips and insights on the community that would have taken me years to figure out on my own. I want to become part of this community, but I don’t know it yet. Not only did she let me know where the best burrito shop was, she guided me to other professionals: my contractor, my accountant, etc. Susan helped us find reliable professionals without any issues. It has been exciting that she has been able to be such a beacon in this new community. The location we ended up at, Chandler and Ray Rd, is a great spot! She knows all the business here and has helped a lot of them get into this area. Susan has been a mutual connection with them and they have been so friendly. She has been a wonderful asset to get us set up in a great spot to serve the southeast valley!”

We are so grateful we got the opportunity to be a part of welcoming such a wonderful new business into our community!
